Low Back Pain

Low back pain can be caused by a number of things. One of the most common underlying causes is pain in the sacroiliac area. The sacroiliac is made up of the sacrum, a triangular shaped bone, and the surrounding support of ligaments and muscles. Nerves to the lower extremities run through the sacroiliac region and any irritation to these nerves can result in pain, numbness, weakness, or poor circulation..

Since even the slightest misalignment of the sacroiliac joint can put pressure on these nerves, chiropractic addresses the problem of the misalignment rather than the symptoms one experiences. Chiropractic works to restore the normal nerve energy flow from the brain through the spine by realigning the vertebrae and the sacrum.

Chiropractic is simple and non-invasive. There are not the side effects that are common when using drugs or surgery.
